Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for a return or exchange:
- Request must be made within 15 days of delivery date
- Product must be unused, in original condition, and in original packaging
- All accessories, manuals, and documentation must be included
- Original proof of purchase (order confirmation) is required
Non-Returnable Items
Based on our product specifications and technical requirements, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Plug-In Lighting Products: 2 Pin Plug-In, 4 Pin Plug-In (due to hygiene and installation factors)
- Specialty Base Types: 2-Pin Base, 4-Pin Base, 2/4-Pin Base products
- Custom Length Items: 2′ Length, 3′ Length, 4′ Length, 8′ Length lighting solutions
- Opened Specialty Bulbs: AR111 and other specialty bulb types once opened
Note: We can only accept returns of A-Line, A15, A19, and A21 bulbs if they are defective upon arrival.
Return & Exchange Process
Step 1: Submit Your Request
Contact our support team within 15 days of receiving your order. Use the template below to ensure we have all necessary information:
Step 2: Receive Authorization
After reviewing your request, we will email you within 1-2 business days with:
- Return authorization number
- Shipping instructions and return address
- Any special instructions for your specific products
Step 3: Ship Your Return
Package your items securely including:
- Product in original packaging
- All accessories and documentation
- Copy of your return authorization
- Original proof of purchase
Important: We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance. Philips Light Shop is not responsible for return packages lost in transit.
Step 4: Processing & Refund
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- We will process your refund within 3-5 business days
- You will receive email confirmation when your refund is processed
- Exchanges will be shipped within 1-2 business days after return approval
Refund Information
Refund Method: Refunds are issued to your original payment method:
- Visa, MasterCard, JCB: 3-5 business days to appear on your statement
- PayPal: 2-3 business days to reflect in your account
Deductions: Original shipping fees are non-refundable. For exchanges, we cover the standard shipping cost for the replacement item.
Defective or Damaged Items
If you receive a defective or damaged product:

- We will arrange a replacement at no additional cost
- In some cases, we may provide a prepaid return label
